Wemings (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use www.wemings.com, how and why we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you give us directly, plus a small amount of technical information recorded automatically when you browse the site.

Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and shipping or billing address.
Order details: the products you purchase, order notes and delivery preferences.
Account details: your email address and a securely hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text.
Messages: anything you send through our contact form, wholesale enquiry form or by email.
Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, and the page that referred you to us, kept in our server access logs.

2. Sign-in with Google or Facebook

You may create an account or sign in with your Google or Facebook account instead of using a password. If you do, that provider sends us:

your name or display name;
your email address;
your profile picture;
a unique user ID issued by that provider.

We receive no password and no access to your account at Google or Facebook. If an account already exists with the same email address, we simply link the two sign-in methods rather than creating a duplicate profile. You can ask us to unlink a social account at any time.

3. How We Use Your Information

To process, ship and support your orders, and to handle returns or refunds.
To send order confirmations, shipping updates and replies to your enquiries.
To prepare quotations for wholesale enquiries.
To keep the site secure (fraud prevention, blocking abusive traffic) and to diagnose faults.
To understand how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it.
To send marketing email only where you have opted in; every message includes an unsubscribe link.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Strictly necessary: session, shopping cart, language preference and security tokens (CSRF). These cannot be switched off.
Consent: remembers your choice on our cookie banner.
Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) tells us which pages and products are viewed and how visitors arrive. Meta Pixel, when configured, measures advertising.
Attribution: our own first-touch cookie records, for up to 180 days, which website or search first brought you to us, purely so we can tell which channels work. Where the law requires it (for example in the EU and UK), this cookie is set only after you accept cookies.

You can decline non-essential cookies on our cookie banner, delete cookies in your browser, or block analytics with a browser extension. Essential functions such as the shopping cart will stop working if you disable all cookies.

5. Information Sharing

We share personal information only with providers that help us operate the business: payment processors, shipping carriers and tracking services, email delivery, and website hosting. They may use the data solely to perform their service for us. We never sell your personal information.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by PingPong Checkout and PayPal. Card details are entered on their secure pages and are never stored on our servers.

7. Data Security

We use HTTPS encryption across the site, hashed passwords, restricted administrative access and regular backups. No online service can be perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

8. International Transfers

We are based in China and serve customers worldwide, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled safely and only for the purposes described here.

9. How Long We Keep Your Data

Account and contact details: while your account is open, and for a reasonable period after you close it.
Order and invoice records: retained to meet tax, accounting and consumer-protection obligations.
Server access logs: kept for a limited period for security and diagnostics.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, download or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent you have given. 11. Children’s Privacy

Our products are aimed at adults and at children supervised by an adult. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 without parental consent. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version; material changes will be announced on the site.
