F+ STUDIO · ORIGINAL WORKS
Works made
one at a time,
and never twice.
Two collections from the same studio floor: retro abstract paintings built from mineral pigment, marble dust and ash — and original digital paintings printed as pigment giclée. Every piece can be commissioned in the palette, size and spirit you want.

TWO COLLECTIONS
Choose the medium, then make it yours
Both lines are made to order. Nothing is printed or painted until you approve the quote.
One of a kind
Retro Abstract
Mineral Paintings
Mineral pigment, marble dust and ash built up in layers on linen panel, then scraped back until the surface looks weathered rather than painted. No two are alike — the material decides the ending.
Size to order
Original Digital
Paintings, Printed
Drawn entirely on screen, then printed as a pigment giclée on archival cotton rag. Because the file is the original, we print to your wall — any size, any aspect ratio, re-composed rather than cropped.
MATERIALS & CRAFT
What you are actually hanging
Hand-painted
Mineral pigment, mixed media, linen panel
Pigment is bound with marble dust or ash and worked into the weave, then sanded or scraped back between layers. Silver leaf and mica appear in the darker pieces.
- Every work is a single original — no reproduction, no second edition
- Surface is sealed matte; ready to hang, no glazing required
- Texture and tonal depth shift with the light through the day
- Palette can be commissioned: send a reference or choose from our palette library
Digital
Original digital painting, pigment giclée
Painted on screen at print resolution, then output with archival pigment inks on cotton rag. The master file for our largest piece is 16800 × 22400 px — detail survives well past a metre.
- Printed to the size you specify, re-composed for your aspect ratio
- Archival pigment inks, cotton rag stock, 100+ year display life indoors
- Shipped rolled in a rigid tube, or framed on request
- Colour matched to your room on request — send a photo of the wall

BEFORE YOU COMMISSION
The questions collectors actually ask
Can I get exactly the piece in the photo?
For hand-painted works, no — and that is the point. Mineral pigment settles differently every time, so we can match the series, the palette and the scale, but not the surface. What you receive is a sister piece, not a copy. Digital works are the opposite: the file is repeatable, so we can print the exact image in your size.
How do I choose a size?
Send a photo of the wall straight on, taken from about 2 metres back, with the sofa or table in frame. We mark up the photo with two or three size options and send it back. For hand-painted work the panel is built to that size; nothing is trimmed from a larger canvas.
Can you work to my colour scheme?
Yes. Send a swatch, a paint chip or a photo of the room. We build a palette from mineral pigments (greys, celadons, oxides, ochres, charcoal) or from our palette library, and confirm it with you before the first layer goes down.
What file should I upload?
Anything we can read: JPG, PNG, PDF, AI, PSD, TIFF or a ZIP of references. For hand-painted commissions a good photograph is usually enough. For digital commissions a reference image or a written direction is enough — we do not need print-ready artwork unless you want us to print your own.
Can I print my own artwork through you?
Yes, as a separate print service. Upload the file, tell us the size and stock, and we will confirm resolution and colour before printing. You keep the copyright; we keep the file only for the run.
What if it arrives damaged?
Photograph the crate before opening and the damage immediately after. We ship insured and replace or repair transit damage. Damage claims must reach us within 7 days of delivery.
