This is a studio original, not a stock item. Commissioning starts a conversation about size, palette and wall — you approve a written quote first, then 50% deposit starts the work, balance before dispatch.

ABOUT THE WORK

Ash Field I is built in thin, patient layers: marble dust bound with mineral pigment, then scraped back before it sets. The surface keeps the memory of the palette knife — ridges catch light from one side, shadow from the other, so the piece changes through the day.

The palette stays inside the range of a weathered studio wall: chalk grey, warm ash, bone white. Nothing competes. It is the quietest work in the series and the one collectors most often pair with a single chair and a lamp.

NOT QUITE IT?
