ABOUT THE WORK

Pastel Drift is built from gesso and soft pastel rather than from heavy pigment. The colour is dusted on and fixed in thin veils, so the panel stays matte and almost weightless.

It is the counterweight to Starfield: same studio, opposite temperature.
