Dense colour script on a black ground — the loudest piece in the studio.
This is a studio original, not a stock item. Commissioning starts a conversation about size, palette and wall — you approve a written quote first, then 50% deposit starts the work, balance before dispatch.
ABOUT THE WORK
Script No. 4 is what happens when the writing wins. Layer over layer of oil stick went down on a black ground until the surface became a thicket of line: cobalt, chalk white, rose, a little yellow.
It is deliberately unresolved. Every time you look, a different mark takes the lead — which is the point of the series.
