ABOUT THE WORK
Starfield is the piece visitors cross the room for. A near-black ground is flooded with silver and mica so the particles settle at different depths; up close it is a landscape of grit, from a distance it is a night sky.
Because the scatter is unpredictable, no second panel can be repeated — the series rule is that each Starfield is closed after one pour.
